About this journal

Wizarding Journal is a fan site for readers who like the wizarding stories and want a calmer place to revisit them. The day's page carries a trivia slip, a theory of the week, and an almanac square. A daily riddle keeps its answer on the server. The stacks, the index, the portraits, the reread, the year scroll, the Fantastic Beasts shelf, the Hogwarts Legacy guide, the arena, the margin, and the hall are the longer rooms.

The words are written for this site. Standing notes are short on purpose. On Monday, Tuesday, and Friday the morning job may add a longer essay, still original. We name places, houses, and widely known story ideas so the notes are usable, and we do not reprint chapters, dialogue, or song lyrics. The byline on those essays is Wizarding Journal Staff.

What a visit can do

Read the encyclopedia, take a practice question, or play a parlor quiz. The sorting sitting is a game with a shareable card. It does not sort anyone. A “read through” control hides notes from books you have not reached yet.
