After the last fight, the game asks what to do with the repository — the stored pain Isidora Morganach pulled from people and Ranrok wanted to weaponize. You can keep the power or destroy it. A third option appears if you have played a certain way, but the shape is the same: the choice is about the repository, not about the school.

Neither ending reaches forward to the novels. The 1890s stay in the 1890s. The choice changes the epilogue’s tone and a few lines of dialogue, not the canon of the seven books. Pick the one that fits the student you played. There is no wrong answer, only a colder or warmer winter after.
