Story overview
The opening is visible. The turn about stored pain, and the last choice, stay blurred until you open them. Nothing on this page is a fact of the seven books.

The arrival
A carriage ride goes wrong. A dragon, a mentor, and a key that should not have been on that road. You reach the castle late and sorted anyway. That opening is the brochure. It does not spoil the repository.
Traces in the castle
Ancient magic shows itself as a residue on ordinary stone. Professors notice. So do people who are not professors. The early hours are an invitation to look, not a confession of the ending.
What Isidora stored
A former student learned to pull pain out of people and keep it. The repositories under the highlands are that project, industrialised. Ranrok wants the power. The mentors who knew her do not agree on whether the work was mercy. This is the game’s moral argument, and it is not in the seven novels.
The last choice
The ending asks what you do with a store of other people’s pain once the rebellion’s leader is dealt with. Keep it, or put it down. The game lets you choose. Neither choice rewrites the novels’ future, because the novels never pick up this repository. Playing the epilogue as if it caused Harry’s century is a theory, and a thin one.
