Student
Luna Lovegood
A Ravenclaw who believes odd things on purpose and sees several real ones other students miss.
Luna arrives in the fifth book, which makes her a late friend and a necessary one. She is mocked for her earrings, her father’s paper, and her calm. She is also kind without keeping score. Ravenclaw’s door asks a riddle; Luna is the student who makes you wonder if the house mistook eccentricity for a flaw.
Canon fact: she can see thestrals, and she says so plainly. The reason is grief. The profile does not turn that into a speech.
