Hogwarts
A Scottish castle school that sorts its students into four houses and keeps its own calendar of terms, feasts, and exams.
Hogwarts is the campus where most of the seven school novels take place. It is a working institution: lessons, meals, detentions, a hospital wing, a library with a restricted section, and a staff that includes ghosts as well as the living.
The building does not behave like a surveyed floor plan. Staircases move, rooms appear for a purpose, and the grounds include a lake, greenhouses, and a forest the students are told to avoid. Treat specific maps you remember from films as one design, not a measurement.
This note is a field sketch of the place as an institution. It is not a chapter retelling, and it is not an official guide.
