Quidditch
A broomstick team sport with four balls, scoring hoops, and a tiny winged ball that can end the match.
Quidditch is played in the air. Three chasers move a ball through hoops. Two beaters swat heavy balls at opponents. A keeper guards the hoops. A seeker chases the snitch, a small golden ball whose catch is worth a large score and usually ends the game.
The rules are knowingly lopsided. A seeker can erase an hour of ordinary scoring, which is excellent drama and questionable sport design. House teams turn the school into a stadium with rival colors.
This is a rules sketch in original words, not a reprint of a rulebook. Films later invented the camera language; the page invented the unfairness.
