Occamy
A winged serpent that grows or shrinks to fit the space, and that wants silver.
An occamy is serpentine, plumed, and chore-like to move, because it changes size to match whatever contains it. Silver draws it. Eggs are valuable enough that smugglers bother, which is the bestiary’s way of saying the creature has a black market.
The films put an occamy in a teapot and then in a crisis. The size trick is the fact. The teapot is a scene, and it stays in the film.
