Demiguise
A shy, ape-like creature whose hair can turn a cloak invisible, and whose sight runs a little ahead of the present.
A demiguise is peaceful, silver-haired, and difficult to catch because it can see the near future. The hair is the trade good: invisibility cloaks have a textile, and this is one the stories name. That is a bestiary fact, separate from the school novels’ own cloak, which has a different history.
The films put a demiguise in a city and let it become a heist. Do not merge that sequence with the cloak in the seven books. One is a creature’s coat. The other is a hallow. Different objects, different shelves.
