The Patronus
A charm that gives shape to a happy memory, used in the stories as a shield against dementors.
A Patronus is joy with a job. The caster holds a memory strong enough to push back creatures that feed on cheer. The form is often an animal, and fans treat those animals as a personality key. The books are more cautious: the form can surprise the caster, and it can change.
The charm is also a message system in later pages, a bright animal sent across distance. That second use matters because it turns a shield into a letter.
This journal will not print an incantation drill. The idea is enough: protection built from remembering something that still shines.
