Amortentia
A love potion that smells like what attracts the smeller. The books do not pretend that is the same thing as love.
Amortentia is obsession with a perfume. It is the most dangerous love potion in the classroom because it is introduced beside a joke about romance and a serious warning about consent. Smell is the tell: the potion reveals desire by scent, which is intimate and not the same as knowing a person.
Canon fact: love potions exist in this world and are treated as both a shop product and a harm. This entry will not blur those. A potion that removes choice is not a romance.
